Tell Businesses to Stop Supporting Terrorism
Whether Best Buy will survive its financial problems has been a major news story recently but what is equally news-worthy is Best Buy's sponsorship of a Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event.
CAIR most recently made news with its attacks on the New York City Police Department's program to prevent attacks by Islamic radicals.
CAIR's Minnesota chapter received a donation from Best Buy that made the struggling retail company a "Platinum Sponsor" of CAIR's activities. The public record shows that CAIR Minnesota and the parent organization have been involved in controversial activities that has caused the United States Government to designate CAIR as an "unindicted co-conspirator" to fund the terrorist group Hamas in the United States. For in depth information about CAIR's criminal history click on this link.
We are urging you to let Best Buy know you want them to stop any funding of CAIR or Hamas.
You reach Best Buy's public relations department by emailing Lisa Hawks, Deputy Director of Public Relations, at email@example.com
Further, you are urged to be a loud voice for righteousness, buy refusing to patronize businesses that fund terrorism, or that allow themselves to be influenced by terrorist organizations. Contact those businesses to let them know why you will not be spending your money there anymore unless they change their policies that are contrary to God's will.
Five-Year Ordeal Over For Gilad Shalit
Thank God, Gilad Shalit, the young Israel soldier has finally been released.
After 5 years of being held by his palestinian kidnappers, Gilad was exchanged for 1,027 palestinian terrorists.
It's a good thing it happened when it did - Gilad appears to have been treated less than well, and very likely wouldn't have survived the conditions of his incarceration for much longer, in contrast to the very, very humane conditions under which the 1,027 palestinian terrorists were kept. Had young Gilad died, the palestinians would not have had such a valuable bargaining chip, and they knew it - that's why they finally agreed to the lopsided exchange.
You may be wondering - What did Gilad Shalit do to deserve his capture, and subsequent incarceration?
The answer is simple, at least to any veteran, such as myself: He contributed to the defense of his country, by serving in the IDF, the Israel Defense Force.
In glaring contrast, the palestinian terrorists, more than deserving of their punishment, perpetrated horrific acts of wanton violence against Israeli men, women, and children, out of a profound sense of hatred for the Jewish people.
Once again, Israel gives more than a thousand times what she receives in international dealings with thug-mentality heathens.
When will the world wake up and see what is really happening in the Middle East? When will the world come to the defense of the only democracy in the Middle East, Israel - Israel, who is surrounded by theocratic arab countries bent on her destruction?
God bless Israel. The land, and the people.
Some Good Finds...
We have recently found some absolutely AMAZING resources online, and so we'd like to share them here with you. We receive no compensation of any kind from any of the companies or individuals, so our only interest in sharing these links is to help you find the things you're looking for online.
The first thing we want to share, is a truly wonderful resource for learning Hebrew - especially scriptural Hebrew. It is a site that is maintained by one of the foremost authorities on Biblical Hebrew, and renowned author on the subject, Jeff A. Benner. As soon as we found out about him (Someone at our Messianic Synagogue loaned me one of his books) we went online and ordered four of his books. They can easily be found on Barnes & Noble's site, simply by performing an author search on "Jeff A. Benner."
So, anyway, we promised some links. Here is the first one... It's Jeff A. Benner's site, www.ancient-hebrew.org. We think it's so good, we are going to permanently link to it in the "Resources" section of this site. We'll also put up a link to it in the navigation highlights area, on the right side of the home page.
Another incredible link we found is the Jerusalem Municipal website - it is available in English and Hebrew - it is REALLY neat. It has virtual tours, hotel and tour info, and really, just too much else to list here. Check it out at tour.jerusalem.muni.il. We've never before seen such a cool website for a city-sponsored site - in fact, it's so good, we are leaving a permanent link to it in our "Resources" page.. (If you want to change the language, just look for the Israeli or British flag in the upper right corner.)
Calling All Talent!
We are actively seeking appropriate images for this site, so if you have some good Israel pictures, or pictures from your messianic congregation worshiping, or whatever... contact us. We will consider original artwork, uncopyrighted photographs, and articles for publication. We may even consider music, if it's extraordinarily good, and glorifies Yeshua. We can't pay anything at this point, but you'll get a publication credit, if you ask, and you can also honestly say you've had your work published.
You retain all rights to your work, be it photographs, artwork, music, etc.
Soon we will have more things here like News that affects us, end times stuff, etc., seminars, conventions, events, and fun news, too. Stay tuned!
Thanks to www.ezekiel33graphics.com for this nice picture of the kotel in Jerusalem!
Galilee of the Nations to Release THE NAMES OF GOD Series August 7
GALILEE OF THE NATIONS MUSIC TO RELEASE 5-VOLUME THE NAMES OF GOD SERIES AUGUST 7
Series Includes Adonai, the Internationally-Acclaimed Messianic Worship Classic Which Now Presents a New Sonic Experience with a Spectacular Remastered Edition
(July 26, 2012) -
Galilee of the Nations Music, the world leader in Messianic Praise & Worship music, has announced August 7 as the launch date for its highly anticipated, five-volume The Names of God series, which includes the CDs Adonai,
Elohim, Yeshua, Sar Shalom and Son of David. Originally released with price points of $15.98 to $16.98, each CD has been re-packaged for a special price of $11.99.
"The Father longs for His children to know Him, who He is, and by the names that describe His character," says producer Yochanan Ben Yehuda, who also is Galilee of the Nations Music Founder and President. "Only then can we, in the words of the prophet Isaiah, 'more fully trust in the name of the Lord and rely on God'. The Names of God series was designed for this very reason. You'll discover God's character revealed through Scripture and song. Knowing God's name provides the foundation for understanding His nature."
Each CD in the series celebrates the nature of God as revealed by His name.
Elohim offers worship from the heart of Israel to the one and only true, all powerful God of the universe, who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Yeshua, from worship leader Karen Davis, extols the Hebrew name of Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Savior of the world. Sar Shalom, also from Davis, carries the heart of God for His ancient people Israel and His people in every nation to know the peace and comfort of His salvation in Messiah Yeshua, Sar Shalom (The Prince of Peace). Son of David blends Hebrew and English with ancient instruments and modern day psalms to build a throne of praise for Yeshua, the holy Son of David.
The centerpiece of the series is the re-release of the completely re-mastered classic Messianic worship CD, Adonai. Produced by Yochanan Ben Yehuda, Adonai was first released in 1998 on the Integrity Music label. Recorded during the first Year of Jubilee to be celebrated in more than two millennia, the project was the first album recorded and distributed worldwide by believers in the land of Israel. This multi-artist album was distributed into 160 nations and sold more than 250,000 units.
Adonai blends the English and Hebrew languages as it weaves modern world music with the history and the culture of Israel to produce a powerful journey of worship. The spectacular 14th Anniversary Edition features 15 songs of Messianic praise and worship from such revered artists as Barry and Batya Segal, Karen Davis, Daniel Kopp, Sarah Lieberman, Chaim Warshawsky, Esther Horesh, Paul Wilbur and Chuck King.
God is Adonai, our Lord and Master, and the CD celebrates that fact with both unbridled joy and solemn reverence. The project begins, appropriately, with the plaintive recitation of the Aaronic Benediction, then husband and wife worship leaders Barry and Batya Segal usher in a spirit of peace and encouragement with the lilting call to worship, "Rise and Shine." Strong Middle Eastern rhythms highlight powerful songs of adoration, such as "Praise the Lord" by Daniel Kopp and Sarah Lieberman, and "Holy" by Karen Davis and Chaim Warshawsky. The project flows seamlessly into beautiful contemporary hymns such as Davis' "The Lord of Hosts," and the Segals' "Rejoice Daughter of Zion," and embraces the classical influences of Israeli soloist Esther Horesh on "Wonderful Savior" and "The Hope." Narrator Yochanan Ben Yehuda and Batya Segal join forces with Paul Wilbur for the reverent "Year of Jubilee." Chuck King closes the project with a minor keyed reminder that Adonai, the Lord, remembers His covenant to a thousand generations.
The Names of God series will be released through Galilee of the Nations Music and distributed to the Christian marketplace through Provident Music Distribution. The series will be distributed to mainstream retailers this fall through Sony. For more information on Galilee of the Nations Music and The Names of God series, visit www.galileeofthenations.com.
